Lincolnshire Wolds Project Officer
LCC have an exciting opportunity to work in the Lincolnshire Wolds Countryside Service Team to conserve and enhance the nationally important Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
About the role
This vacancy is for one of two full-time Project Officer positions within the service and the role is a highly varied one. You will be working with a wide range of landowners, community groups and specialist partners to help develop and support environmental projects across the AONB landscape.
This fixed term opening, initially for 15 months, provides an opportunity to further skills and experience in voluntary engagement, arts and heritage management, wildlife recovery, recreation and tourism, climate change adaption and spatial planning.
There will be opportunities to apply both data gathering and research to help aid development of the next five year strategy and action plan (The Lincolnshire Wolds AONB Management Plan).
Hybrid working is a feature of this role. The successful applicant will be required to attend the office (in Louth) alongside the rest of the team one day a week. On occasion additional days may be required together with some evening and weekend work.
About you
Excellent communication and organisation skills are required along with the ability to work collaboratively with all who live, work, visit and have an active interest in the Lincolnshire Wolds.
Please note this role requires you to be mobile throughout an operational area and therefore a valid driving licence and use of a car is required.
