Wraparound Staff

  • Breakfast Club Assistant Grade G2 (£17,711-£18,065, pro rata, equated pay)
  • After School Club Assistant  Grade G3 (£18,065-£19, 171, pro rata, equated pay)

Both roles are Permanent, Part time, and term time only.

Required for an immediate start. 

We are seeking to fill two posts for our now established wraparound care Cheerios.

Our Breakfast Club runs term time Monday to Friday 7.30 - 8.30 am, and we require an assistant to work in this provision. Our After School Club runs term time Monday to Friday 2.45 - 6.00 pm, and we are seeking an assistant to support with the running of this.

We are open to candidates who wish to apply for both posts but we will also accept applications for each individual post.

Newton on Trent Church of England Primary School is a warm and friendly rural village school, currently with 53 pupils, where you will be welcomed by a dedicated and friendly team of staff and fantastic children. Staff work in a supportive and collaborative environment with the child at the centre of all we do. Our governors are committed and pro-active, and are supportive of the development of our wraparound care.

The staff we will employ need to have inspired and innovative ideas to initiate and develop creative and exciting play opportunities for our children. You will develop the self-esteem and independence of our children. You will supervise our children at all times, preparing appropriate activities and resources, preparing and serving food, and making attendance at our wraparound care positive and welcoming. You will foster excellent relationships with our children, being empathetic to the needs of individual pupils and their families. You will be enthusiastic, self-motivated and well organised, and will be supportive of the school’s aims and Christian values.
