Applications are invited for transfer/promotion to Substantive Watch Manager B (Control). The post is conditioned to the Grey Book and working the 2-2-4 shift system. Salary £34,182 (development) - £37,414 (competent)

Based in the shared Police and Fire Control Room in Nettleham, two miles north of historic Lincoln, we are looking for a dedicated, motivated individual who can fulfil the role of Watch Manager (Control) under the nationally agreed Watch Manager Role Map.
With the support of Control Manager and within the Service guidelines, policies and procedures, you will be vested with an appropriate level of autonomy and decision making authority and will be expected to exercise good judgement in the performance of your duties.
You will contribute to the protection of people and making communities safer by:
- Managing people and their activities to ensure effective Service delivery.
- Assisting the Control Manager in the effective running of Control and related functions on a day to day basis.
- Contributing to the management of all issues affecting policies and procedures, Health & Safety, welfare, discipline and morale of personnel.
Police Vetting to level 3 is required due to the role being based in the shared Fire and Police control room
