The Independent Chairs sit within the Quality and Standards Service and there are three Team Managers who are responsible for the Chairs, LADOs and Reg-44 Visitors. The Chairs have a dual role with responsibility for chairing child protection conferences and undertaking the Independent Reviewing Officer role. 

The post is based in Lincoln (Myle Cross) but the team is a county wide one and staff are mobile workers. 

What are we looking for?

  • A minimum of 5 years post qualifying experience with management experience.
  • Innovation, creativity and drive.
  • Child focused.
  • An excellent communicator with exceptional report writing skills.
  • Experience and knowledge of care planning and IRO role, management of safeguarding allegations and Reg-44.
