One to One Teaching Assistant x 2 positions Temporary Contracts
Position 1 - 16.25 hrs./week, 39 weeks per year - Monday – Friday (mornings)
Position 2 – 20 hrs. /week, 39 weeks per year - Monday – Friday(mornings) plus 3 x afternoons.
Salary Scale G3 06 16.25 hrs. - £7,903.13 pa (£18,562 pro rata)
20.0 hrs. - £9,726.93 pa (£18,562 pro rata)
Start date: As soon as possible
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Learning Support Assistant who will be able to support a child with special educational needs in Key Stage 2.
The role of a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant is crucial in ensuring that the curriculum is personalised for individual pupils. The person will be confident in adapting activities to allow the child in their care to make good or better progress.
We are looking for someone with:
- A proven track record of working with children using positive behaviour strategies
- A proactive and caring approach to developing children’s learning
- Excellent communication and team working skills
- The ability to promote social development and learning
- A willingness to encourage a child with specific needs to reach their full potential.
The main purpose of this role will be to support a child on a daily basis, liaising with school staff and parents to ensure the best possible outcome for the child in their care.
This position will be a Temporary Contract, until the end of August 2022. The contract may end sooner should there be any changes regarding the Health Care Plan or the child leaves the school before this date.
