We are seeking to recruit three Apprentice Teaching Assistants who are highly motivated, dedicated and passionate about education, to join our successful and supportive team, here at Willoughby Academy. Self-confidence and enthusiasm combined with energy and perseverance are a prerequisite.

Willoughby is an all needs, through Academy (2 – 19) for students with moderate, severe, profound and complex needs.  We offer a highly supportive learning environment with excellent facilities. Enthusiasm combined with energy and perseverance are a prerequisite; as is the desire to be involved in all aspects of the development of an outstanding and cutting edge Special Academy, at the forefront of educational improvement and attainment.

During the Apprenticeship you will undertake the Teaching Assistant Level 3 qualification.  You will be providing support to teaching staff by assisting in the delivery of class-based tasks to groups or individual students.

The successful candidate will be:

The successful candidates will be qualified to GCSE level C or equivalent in English and Mathematics. Good interpersonal skills are vital, with a desire to develop techniques to motivate and support young people.
