TEACHING ASSISTANT LEVEL 1– based at Digby Church of England School

Pay Grade G3 (£15,807- £17,419 pro rata and equated. £9.32 - £10.17 per hour)

To start on 20th April 2019.

Term time only – 39 weeks per year

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Federation in Digby CE Primary school. The federation benefits from an experienced and supportive team of teachers.

We have a caring ethos and we have a supportive and friendly staff team, with well-behaved children.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and committed team member to join our happy and dedicated school family to provide support for the children in school. As a small school, the post will mean that you will have the opportunity to work across the whole primary phase.  

A relevant NVQ 2 is desirable, as is any recent primary school-based experience of supporting children within this age group.  The post-holder may be asked to work on a one to one basis with children or lead the learning of small groups.

As well as supporting academic learning, the role will involve nurturing the social and behavioural development of the children.

Calmness, a good sense of humour and the ability to build relationships are essential qualities.
