We require a Teaching Assistant to work with a child who has additional needs. 

We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our staff team. This important position is to support a pupil in our Year 3 class with an Education Health Care Plan for 17 hours a week.

We are looking for someone who has:-

  • Experience of working with children with additional needs and particularly Autistic Spectrum Condition, ADHD and Oppositional Defiance Disorder. In addition, experience with social and emotional support, planning and delivering daily sensory circuits and positive play opportunities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Energy, enthusiasm, confidence and the ability to make people smile!

The successful applicant must be able to liaise effectively with parents and other professional agencies.
