The Lincoln Saints Federation cater for students and pupils between the ages of 2-19 with a range of needs. We are looking for teaching assistants to work with students with a range of complex needs and disabilities, including physical and medical needs at our St Christopher’s Primary site.

Teaching Assistant Level 1 (SEND) - St Christopher's Primary School Lincoln 
Start date: 1st February 2025 (or sooner)
Contract type: Temporary (Secondment Cover)

Salary: £24,027 pro rata (actual salary £20,607)
Hours: 32.5
Weeks: Term time only plus 1 week

  • Experience of working in a similar role or willingness to learn and develop skills.
  • Experience of working with young people with anxiety/mental health needs.
  • Experience of complex and challenging behaviours
  • Experience of profound and multiple learning difficulties.
  • Experience of using sensory strategies.
  • Experience in the child and/or adult care sector.
  • Training for moving & handling or willingness to learn.
  • Training for administration of medication or willingness to learn.
  • A drive to ensure children receive the appropriate support to achieve their potential.
  • The ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • Resilience and patience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • A willingness to ‘go the extra mile’.
