Hexagon Care Services are a large privately owned provider of residential childcare in the country. We have over 50 Children’s Homes, 5 Crisis Intervention services, and 14 trauma informed schools across England.
We’re opening a brand-new, independent school dedicated to supporting pupils with EHCPs. Under the leadership of our recently appointed headteacher, we’re building a team that shares our vision for delivering exceptional education, care, and opportunities.
The Three Chestnuts School supports 30 students aged between 11-18. It offers a broad and balanced curriculum which is in line with the national curriculum. At KS4 students have the opportunity to study ASDAN, Functional Skills and GCSEs for the more academically able.
We are looking to recruit teaching assistants with a strong understanding of learners with additional needs who require a tailored and bespoke approach to education. Previous experience working as a teaching assistant/higher level teaching assistant is essential, and experience of supporting SEMH people or working in a secondary school is advantageous for this role. If you enjoy working with small pupil numbers, supporting with a mixture of academic and practical/vocational subjects and have share a passion for supporting young people we want to hear from you!
The successful post-holders will have the passion and vision to develop and deliver high quality education. The school will work in close partnership with other professionals to provide a holistic package of support which may also include children living in care and accessing therapeutic support.
