Teaching Assistant Temporary Contract 27.25 hours per week

Salary: Grade 3 Point 6 (£18812 FTE)

Start Date: 7th June 2021

Contract End date: 31.08.2021 in the first instance

We are looking for an excellent classroom based Teaching Assistant to support our mixed age Year 1/2 Classes. The successful candidate will have experience of working with Key Stage One children and will have a good understanding of phonics and the skills needed to work with groups of children in this key subject area.

We are looking for a person who will:

  • have at least a Level 2 qualification in working with children or young people
  • have experience of working with children in Key Stage One
  • have a good understanding of phonics

  • be able to communicate effectively with parents
