School’s Salary: Grade 3, Pt 6 (£18,065 pro-rata)
Working hours: Monday to Friday, Term Time only (39 weeks per year)
Vacancy 1 - 20 hours per week, Working hours 10.15 am -12.15 am and 1.00 pm -3.00 pm (some flexibility may be required.)
Vacancy 2 - 30 hours per week, Working hours 8.45 am – 3.15 pm (30 minutes lunch break).
We wish to appoint two motivated and committed Teaching Assistants to support a SEND pupil on a one to one basis.
This is a temporary appointment, initially until August 2021, pending the needs of the school.
We are looking for two caring, enthusiastic and creative individuals who are also good team players and able to work well as part of a supportive staff, as well as having an ability to foster excellent working relationships with children.
Recent primary school-based experience is required as well as an understanding of supporting children with specific needs to support their learning, behaviour, social inclusion as well as their social and emotional development.
Good Literacy and Numeracy skills (GCSE or equivalent) and NVQ 2 (or equivalent) are essential, as well as an ability to use your initiative.
