Teaching Assistant (1:1)

We are seeking to appoint a new Teaching Assistant confident in supporting a pupil with additional needs to join our team of committed and friendly staff.
The post requires the successful applicants to be patient, caring, enthusiastic, flexible, positive, passionate, motivated and have that all essential sense of humour. They should be a creative individual who expects high standards of behaviour and learning outcomes for all our pupils as well as supporting those with a variety of emotional and educational needs. The successful applicant will work well as part of a team and support the vision and ethos of the school.

A minimum Teaching Assistant qualification of NVQ Level 2 or equivalent and experience of working in a school is essential.
The successful candidate will be employed for the purpose of assisting with the additional needs of a named child whilst the child attends and requires assistance with us. This contract is temporary and the end date will be when the pupil is no longer on roll, however, the contract may be ended sooner in the event that a decision is made that assistance is no longer required for the child at this school due to a change in the need for assistance or as a result of the child leaving the school. Notice will be given in accordance with statutory provisions and terms and conditions of service.
In accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 (Fluency Duty), the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post. If you feel that this post interests you, please contact us.

Fluency Duty
