Teaching Assistant 1:1

We wish to appoint two experienced 1:1 Teaching Assistants to work with a child within Key Stage 1.
Post 1 16.25 hours – mornings
Post 2 16.25 hours - afternoons
We are looking for warm, caring and enthusiastic individuals who will be able to offer an exceptional level of support to this child. The new post has arisen through an Education, Health and Care Plan being granted.
Each successful applicant will have a willingness to undertake training and work closely with colleagues and outside agencies in order to provide the very best for each child.
Duties will include
- Supporting teaching and learning in the classroom;
- Supporting the learning of the individual child,
- Classroom preparation;
- Supporting behaviour plans and individual targets.
Previous experience working with children with autistic spectrum disorders would be advantageous.
Patience, understanding and a sense of humour are essential for this role.
