School’s Salary: Grade 3, Pt 6 (£18,065 pro-rata)
Working hours: Mon-Fri, 08:45 am to 3:15 pm (30 minutes lunch break) 30 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks)
We wish to appoint a motivated and committed Teaching Assistant to support a SEND pupil on a one to one basis. This is a temporary appointment, initially until August 2021, pending the needs of the school.
We are looking for caring, enthusiastic and creative individual who is also a good team player and able to work well as part of a supportive staff, as well as having an ability to foster excellent working relationships with children.
Recent primary school-based experience is required as well as an understanding of supporting children with specific needs to support their learning, behaviour, social inclusion as well as their social and emotional development.
Good Literacy and Numeracy skills (GCSE or equivalent) and NVQ 2 (or equivalent) are essential, as well as an ability to use your initiative.
