Part-time Teacher of Science (MPS/ UPS)
The start date for this position is September 2021.
As part of The King’s School’s initiative to enhance and develop our science programme, we are delighted to announce an opening for a part-time position in the Science Department. The post is likely to be offered on a part time basis between 0.3 & 0.5 FTE dependent on the final timetable requirements for the next academic year. The ability to teach Biology to GCSE is essential for this post.
This role would suit an experienced teacher wishing to further develop their career or a committed NQT looking to get their career off to a good start.
A full induction and CPD support programme will be made available to the successful candidate.
In our most recent OFSTED inspection, The King’s School was judged as outstanding. As such, our all boys’ grammar school – with a cohort of approximately 1,200 students – is very popular and is often over-subscribed.

The initial selection of candidates will take place on a remote basis. It is hoped that final panel interviews will take place on the school site, current restrictions allowing. Please note that feedback will only be provided to candidates whose applications progress to the interview stage.
