Are you an energetic and creative Primary Teacher, looking for a great team to work with?

We are looking for someone to join us in September on a one-year, fixed term contract as a class-teacher. There is a strong chance that this role could lead to a permanent role with us in the future.

We will consider suitable applications from teachers at an early stage of their teaching career, or a class teacher with experience looking for their next professional development move. 

About you:

The successful candidate will

  • Have a passion for the children they teach and belief they can all achieve well;
  • Have a proven record of effective teaching;
  • Plan and teach high-quality lessons within a broad and interesting curriculum;
  • Adapt teaching to meet individual needs;
  • Understand the essential need to balance good academic achievement and progress with the life skills and compassion that pupils need to thrive in the modern world;
  • Be determined to be the best teacher they can be;
  • Be prepared to contribute to the further development of our strong and forward-looking team;
  • Be willing to be curious about their practice and how it can impact best on learning;
  • Be able to make positive relationships about with staff, pupils and parents alike.

It is likely that this post will be within Key Stage 2 therefore experience in upper KS2 would be of benefit, however, there may be scope to place in lower Key Stage 2.
