About the role

As a Senior Project Manager, you will support the implementation and delivery of the Council’s transformation activities, and other corporate priority and major projects. This role will lead and manage some of the Council’s most complex transformational and innovative change projects and programmes of work.

You will be responsible for providing the day-to-day leadership for the delivery of projects or programmes of work, including ensuring work is delivered within allocated budget, on time and to the agreed level of quality standards.

What are we looking for?

  • Are you a Senior Project Manager qualified in an appropriate Project Management discipline with experience of managing projects or programmes at a senior level within a transformational environment, preferably within a political context?
  • Do you have an excellent knowledge of change management methodologies, and experience of implementing change within large and complex organisations?
  • Do you have the ability to apply Business/ Data Analysis approaches such as Lean Six Sigma to deliver innovative solutions and new ways of working?
  • Can you prioritise workloads and deadlines in a fast passed, complex environment, by utilising excellent people management, relationship building and communication skills?
  • Are you professionally curious, innovative and creative?

The role is based within our Lincoln site and encompasses a hybrid working model where you will combine working from home with time on site based on the needs of the service.
