Senior Bridge Inspection Engineer

Lincolnshire County Council has an exciting position available for an experienced engineer to work within our Technical Services Partnership (TSP) as Senior Bridge Inspection Engineer.  This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy forward thinking team and be involved with works across the county.

Candidates will need to be Incorporated or Chartered Engineers in an appropriate discipline with experience in Civil Engineering and specifically bridge inspection and maintenance as a must.

Experience in the use of Confirm or a similar Highways Asset Management System is preferred.

Candidates will also ideally have, or be working towards, the Bridge Inspector Competency Scheme (BICS), but this is not essential.

Technical Services Partnership is the County Council's preferred supplier for highway design services and is based at Crown House in Lincoln. The Structures Team is part of TSP and consists of 10 engineering staff.

We are responsible for the designs, inspection, maintenance and management all Highway owned bridges, culverts and retaining walls within the county.
