SEND Teaching Assistant KS2

At Haxey C of E Primary Academy, we are looking to appoint an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work with children in KS2 with an EHCP with both academic needs as well as social and emotional support.
SEND Teaching Assistant - Haxey C of E Primary Academy
30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:45am – 3:15pm with 30-minute lunchbreak, 39 weeks per year (term time + 5 inset days)
Fixed term contract for the duration that the child remains at the school.
Salary £17,316 - £18,447 gross per annum
(Based on North Lincolnshire Salary Scale G4.5 - G4.9)

Have a calm, nurturing personality with an unwavering drive to ensure that pupils make progress in all elements of their education.
The successful applicant will have:
- A good working knowledge of EHCP’s and contributing to them
- Have a good understanding of supporting pupils with profound needs, experience of trauma-informed practice and/or attachment is desirable.
- Able to use your own initiative to support pupils according to their individual needs.
- Will need to support with lunchtimes, routines, working 1:1 and in small groups
- Experience of teaching phonics - RWI is desirable.Applicants should have achieved Grade C or above in GCSE Maths & English or equivalent.
