Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the safety and welfare of our students during lunchtimes.
  • To follow the school’s behaviour management policies and procedures when supervising areas of the school during lunchtimes.
  • Responsible for cleaning the kitchen area in accordance with school’s standards.
  • To ensure cleaning materials and equipment are stored carefully when not in use.

  • A permanent part-time role of School Midday Supervisory Assistant (SMSA) for 5.83 hours per week and Cleaner for 4.17 hours per week for 39 weeks per year.
  • Salary upon appointment for SMSA Grade 2 Scale Point 3 £23,656 (actual £3,191) with potential to rise to Point 6 £24,027 (actual £3,241)
  • Salary upon appointment for Cleaner Grade 1 Scale Point 2 £23,473 (actual £2,265).
