Residential Care Home Cook

Lincolnshire County Council is looking for a cook within our home (The Beacon) in Grantham.  You will work together with our carers to prepare healthy meals meeting the dietary needs of the children and young people. You will be responsible for preparing weekly menus, purchasing ingredients and maintaining records and hygiene standards. Good food and nutrition are a key part of the core things our children need and you will help to provide this to those in our care.

This is a permanent, part-time position working 20 hours a week over 5 days (including weekend and bank holiday working)

As an important member of our team you'll work alongside our dedicated team to sometimes provide hands on care to the young people within the Home.
