Project Team Leader
Lincolnshire County Council has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dedicated Project Manager to join our Corporate Property team as a Project Team Leader. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive team in a role that provides variety, challenge and an opportunity to drive positive change for the people of Lincolnshire.
This Team Leader position will see the post holder manage a team of 2 project managers, which are responsible for commissioning and delivering small property projects across the county.
This is a newly created position that will allow someone to join a busy team and make a real difference across the county. The team is a small client team and they are tasked to commission and deliver small property development projects including new buildings and refurbishments in schools and corporate buildings county wide.
The ideal candidate for the role will have the relevant Project/Program management qualifications/training and a track record of successful project delivery. Customer focus will be key as will effective stakeholder management up to and including senior management within the organisation and external partners. A highly skilled approach to risk and issue management will be required coupled with advanced negotiation skills to help ensure positive outcomes when faced with competing demands.
Needless to say; excellent communication skills and an ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities on a daily basis are essential attributes.
