Project Officer - Enterprise Programmes
Lincolnshire County Council's Enterprise Team is looking to recruit a permanent full-time project officer to manage budgeting, funding claims, control of financial & management data and partnerships for the Business Lincolnshire Growth Hub.

About the Enterprise Team
The Enterprise Team is a fast paced, dynamic and friendly team within the Place directorate. The role of the team is exciting and varied but is focussed on delivering a range of business support services, addressing the needs of Lincolnshire's businesses by engaging with partners and undertaking commissioning activities that aim to deliver economic growth and jobs.
We deliver our support by working with and influencing a wide range of partner organisations including other LCC teams, district councils, HE/ FE providers and the private sector. We undertake activities via our website: www.businesslincolnshire.com and through contracts that we commission with 3rd party suppliers who specialise in business support activities.
Our services are funded through various external grants such as the European Regional
Development Fund that we write compelling business cases and funding bids to secure.
About the Candidate:
You will need to be organised, tenacious and able to work on your own initiative. You will possess excellent financial and data management skills, have exceptional attention to detail, be a confident and effective communicator and be fully computer literate.
The ideal candidate will be a completer/finisher and be able to scrutinise complex information. Previous experience of European Funding (ERDF) and auditing would be a significant advantage, and the team would welcome a candidate who is enthusiastic about potentially undertaking a qualification in finances/accounting.
About the Role:
Responsible for monitoring a range of economic regeneration programmes and projects with values between £50,000 and £5 million. Ensuring that schemes and services are delivered in accordance with their agreed budgets, timescales, quality and performance targets. Implementing robust contract procedures and ensuring audit trails are in place.
To provide monitoring and management control of relevant programmes. Manage project budgets producing accurate budget reports showing the implication of any changes for the Commissioning Manager.
