East of England Teacher Training have a School Direct Salaried vacancy in Lincoln. Our postgraduate, one year course will lead to the award of Qualified Teacher Status. You will have the option of also completing a PGCE. 

The School Direct Salaried route is for those who are seeking employment during their training year; as a result this is a highly competitive route into teaching. 

As you are employed by your training school you will not pay any course fees and will therefore not be eligible for student finance.

This is a very practical route into teaching, offering hands on teaching experience from the very beginning, that is supported and facilitated by fully qualified, practising teachers. Through the School Direct Salaried route you will be supported by an experienced class based mentor to ensure you develop and grow into an outstanding teacher. In addition to this, East of England Teacher Training will also provide you with a Quality Assurance Tutor who will regularly visit you and provide constructive feedback and support. 

The reason this course has a high employability rate is that the teaching, theory and development occurs within the school, as a result of working with children and teachers from day one. 

Our programme will ensure you have experienced the full spectrum of life within a primary school and are therefore more prepared to undertake your NQT (Newly Qualified Teacher) year. Those who have undertaken school based routes are recognised as being more classroom ready by employers.
