Safer and Stronger Through Sport

These exciting opportunities will allow you to develop a mentoring and supportive relationship with young people, with the aim of using sport and positive activities to support their safety and reduce the risk of exploitation and harm.

There are two, full time (37 hours per week) permanent posts available.

Lincolnshire County Council are looking for two creative, enthusiastic and innovative candidates who will offer a warm, relational approach for the role of Positive Futures Community Sports Workers. The candidates will sit within the Children’s Services, Future4Me Team - and will work as part of the Community & Interventions Team, based in Boston and South Holland. The candidates will work within targeted communities, coordinating and delivering an exciting programme of sport and positive activities for young people. These roles will also involve delivering targeted interventions, often using sport as a vehicle to develop young people, whilst working in partnership with local agencies and organisations.

We are offering a competitive salary of £25,878 - £28,371, along with a pension, a comprehensive benefits package including excellent discount schemes, cycle to work, civil service sports council membership and many areas for professional support and development.
