An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Policy Advisors to join our newly formed policy service delivering and implementing evidence led initiatives and strategies that provide value for money and improve outcomes for residents.

We are looking for two highly motivated people with enthusiasm, innovative ideas, political awareness and the ability to work flexibly in a dynamic, quickly changing policy environment to join our newly formed policy service.
Based in the Corporate Directorate of Lincolnshire County Council, the service provides advice and foresight directly to the Corporate Leadership Team and elected Councillors and supports the achievement of our Corporate Plan ambitions for Lincolnshire.
- Evaluate the impact of emerging legislation or policy affecting Lincolnshire, advising the Council and identifying where appropriate the potential to influence debate.
- Develop and implement evidence led initiatives and strategies that provide value for money and improve outcomes for residents.
- Provide expert advice and guidance and build effective relationships and partnerships to reach solutions that support our One Council priorities for Lincolnshire.
- Commission and bring together different sources of insight and develop foresight to inform our work and future strategy.
To be successful in this role you will need to have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to research problems, and the passion to solve them. You’ll work on designing, delivering and communicating policy, and work across organisational boundaries and professional disciplines to deliver results.
