Permanent Midday Meals Supervisor

We are seeking a hardworking and flexible person to join our Midday Meals team at Wyberton Primary Academy to start as soon as possible.

We require a Midday Meals Supervisor from 11.50am until 1:05pm Monday to Friday every week (during term-time) to serve and to supervise children during their lunch period.

Reliability, punctuality and a commitment to teamwork is essential, as you will be joining a group of hardworking colleagues.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • To set up the hall/ classroom on arrival – putting out tables, chairs and cutlery.
  • To serve food to pupils ensuring that all pupils receive the meals that the parents have ordered.
  • To supervise the pupils either in the hall or classroom.
  • To supervise and interact with pupils during outdoor playtime.
  • To be aware of any medical/dietary needs of those pupils in your care.
  • To help clean the hall and classroom after the meals have been eaten.
  • There will also be a requirement for further training in the role – for example- Food Hygiene & Allergy e-learning courses and manual handling.
