Horncastle Community Primary School is seeking to recruit a Pastoral Support Assistant, a brand new post which will focus on children’s well-being. This is an exciting opportunity to join a large primary school community, at a time when well-being has never been more important.

Working under the direction of the Pupil Well-being Leader, the role of the Pastoral Support Assistant is to support pupil engagement by providing bespoke pastoral care, nurture and academic support, particularly to vulnerable and disadvantaged pupils. He or she will support the well-being of pupils, striving to enable them to flourish and reach their potential.

 The post is 20 hours per week, term time only. The work schedule is four hours daily; five mornings per week. This post is for a fixed-term period until 31st August 2022, in the first instance.
