Pastoral Lead - Witham St Hugh's Primary Academy 

Permanent from January 2025
21 hours per week from 8.30 am – 2.15 pm Monday – Thursday for 39 weeks per year to include 3 training days.
LEAD NJC – 7-12 (£25284 - £27711 FTE) Actual Starting Salary £12434

Applicants should have the ability to deliver high quality pastoral and well-being provision with a genuine passion and desire to have a significant impact upon our children’s mental well-being, as well as demonstrate ambition for yourself.

We believe that our children deserve the very best educational experiences and should be valued for who they are.

We are specifically looking for candidates who:

  • work collaboratively with the class teacher and within the year group team
  • experience in counselling, play therapy or ELSA
  • show adaptability in your understanding and approach to mental well-being
  • have good communication skills and the ability to listen to the views of the child
  • have very high expectations of all pupils and show empathy, consideration and care
  • will actively contribute to the development of our dedicated and professional staff team
