Lincolnshire County Council has an exciting opportunity for an Early Years Entitlements Outreach Officer to develop and maintain strong, positive working relationships with locality teams, health visitors, job centres, childcare providers and other professionals to ensure government funded education is accessed by eligible children.
The Early Years Entitlement team supports the effective delivery of early years funding across Lincolnshire. The team ensures all registered childcare providers have up to date information about the delivery of the current entitlements and provide advice and support to all settings to deliver the offers effectively.
We're looking for someone passionate about early years education and care. The role involves influencing stakeholders to promote the benefits of early education and care, particularly for young children considered deprived or vulnerable.
To be successful in this role you will need to work with a range of professionals internally and externally to ensure all eligible children access the government entitlements in line with the needs of the individual child.
The successful candidate for this role will:
- Hold a level 4 qualification or equivalent
- Have the ability to quickly establish strong positive relationships across the organisation
- Communicate varied information effectively with internal and external clients via a variety of mediums
- Have a specialist knowledge of current legislation, changing government policy and delivery within the Early Years sector.
