Washingborough Academy is set in beautiful, extensive grounds in the centre of Washingborough village, just four miles outside of Lincoln. We are looking to appoint a friendly and efficient person to work within our very busy office environment.
The successful applicant will be expected to promote and model our ‘Values Based’ school ethos. Previous experience of working within an educational setting is essential and they should have a cheerful, warm and welcoming personality with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. They will be confident, flexible, organised and able to prioritise to meet fluid deadlines. Most importantly, they will be able to remain calm under pressure and have a great sense of humour.
The post-holder will be located in the very busy front office and be a point of contact for parents, pupils and all school visitors. We are looking for someone who:
- Has a welcoming manner and excellent interpersonal skills
- Is hard working, self-motivated and can use their own initiative
- Has strong ICT skills and previous experience of managing data systems (Arbor, ParentPay, EYFS Hub)
- Has excellent organisational and communication skills
- Is able to work under pressure and prioritise workloads in line with key events
- Is a good team player and has a desire to build excellent relationships
- Is committed to child protection, safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils
