Actual salary: £1,855 - £1,968 based on Grade G3, SCP 6-9 (approx. £9.39 - £9.96 per hour) plus reasonable travel expenses
This is not a typical clerking role, in that the legal aspects of the role and all meeting preparation will be completed by our current Trust Administrator.
Infinity Academies Trust wishes to appoint a well organised and reliable administrator to attend evening meetings, take the minutes, type them up and send to the appropriate correspondents in a timely manner.
There will be 29 meetings in an academic year, each lasting approximately 2 hours. Meetings will be held at one of our Primary Schools within the Boston, Gipsey Bridge and Spilsby areas. The meetings start between 5 – 6pm depending on the venue. Meeting dates for the year are set in advance and will take part during term time.
The salary has been based on an allowance of 6 hours per meeting (plus holiday pay) to cover attendance at the meetings and the production of minutes. Reasonable travel expenses will be paid in addition to the salary.
The right person for the role would be someone who ideally has
- Experience in taking minutes of meetings or is capable of doing so.
- You will need to be confident in your ability to present the notes professionally typed up into a Word document from your own notes.
- Previous experience working within an Education based role would be beneficial, however not compulsory.
