10 hours a week (Mon-Fri), 38 weeks a year

Based at St Norbert’s Catholic Voluntary Academy, Spalding

This is an exciting opportunity for two Midday Supervisors to join a great school with a committed team who work closely together to provide high quality teaching and learning as well as a caring and supportive ethos for all our children.  

The lunchtime experience should be a positive one in which our children should feel safe, socialise and enjoy themselves.

The role of Midday Supervisor involves a range of tasks including:

  • Prepare hall for dining including setting out tables and chairs, as appropriate
  • Distribute meals and serve water where required
  • Clear tables and collect rubbish, wash and stack away tables, chairs, water jugs and covers
  • Clean dining area as required.
  • Playtime supervision, play leading, and being a good role model of Christian values for the children.

The work pattern for this role will be as follows:

Monday to Friday- 11:30 am to 1:30 pm

The successful candidate will have some experience supervising children be able to sometimes work without direct supervision. As an effective and enthusiastic Midday Supervisor the successful applicant will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be able to form positive relationships with children and will enjoy the variety and challenges of a busy, creative school environment.  

You do not need to be a practising Catholic but must be committed to working within a Christian ethos.
