Midday Meals Assistant

The staff and children at Manor Leas Junior Academy are looking for a caring and enthusiastic person to join our lunchtime team supported and led by a Midday Controller under the direction of the Senior Leadership team.

Midday Supervisory Assistants duties include (but are not exhaustive):

  • Supervision of pupils on the playground, playing field and play equipment
  • Encouraging positive play amongst pupils
  • Monitoring and reporting incidents
  • Behaviour management of children outside
  • Supervising children in classroom during wet lunches

Manor Leas Junior Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment. An Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure will be required for this post.

Hours: 5 hrs per week during term time – 39 weeks per year

(Monday – Friday:  12.00 – 1.00 pm)
