Maintenance Design Technician
There are currently two vacancies of a Maintenance Design Technician position, which is critical in delivering the Operational Asset Management services.
Based in offices across Lincolnshire, the Maintenance Design Technician position is critical in supporting the delivery of the Operational Asset Management services. They will assist the multi-functional teams in the delivery of carriageway patching works, surfacing works, footway works, drainage works, cyclic maintenance, traffic regulation orders, surface treatments and cyclical maintenance works across the County.
The posts will involve site surveys, design works, producing works order packs for contractors, site supervision and audits, updating inventory data, engagement with members of the public and dealing with transactions and complaints.
In all of these posts you will need a good level of technical knowledge, be able to engage with the community and have the ability to inspect and place works orders to the Alliance contractors. These diverse posts have a varied workload including the coordination of works, daily communication with a variety of customers and groups in a range of methods and assisting in the development and use of suitable IT systems and processes. A full training and development package will be made available to each individual to ensure candidates are able to attain their full potential within the organisation.
