Following the retirement of a long standing member of staff we have a vacancy for a Locality Lead within the West Area of Lincolnshire. The post is based in Myle Cross, Lincoln covering the Lincoln South and Hykeham Area teams and the Review Team.

About the role:

The Locality Lead provides oversight and management across multiple settings to ensure that area teams deliver on quality, performance and practice to the expected high standard.

You will lead and support Lead Practitioners to make and maintain connections with partnership and local organisations to achieve the best outcomes for their Area.   

You will play a key role in supporting Teams to further progress the expansion of integrated working which is well under way in Lincolnshire. Our partnerships are of great importance to us and are critical to achieving sustainable outcomes and positive effective outcomes for the people of Lincolnshire. 

If you have a proven track record in building and maintaining professional relationships both within Adult care and with other organisations then this could be the role for you. 

You will be responsible for supporting with the development of the teams dealing with all HR issues including absence management, quality audits and appraisals. You will lead, inspire and develop teams contributing to the identification and development of potential talent.

The successful candidate will hold a budget and will take ownership of the effective management of this. 

The role is essential to support staff and contribute to service development and the delivery of Adult Care across the County as part of the wider leadership and management team.  

You will have responsibility for the adherence and compliance of County Council, National and Local policy, procedures, and guidance and legislative requirements.

You will be responsible for improving and maintaining high quality performance across the service area by providing day to day leadership and management advice and guidance to all teams within your Area.

About you:

You will need to have experience of working within a managerial position; possess a Management qualification, Social Work qualification, for example, Dip SW, CQSW, OT qualification or a nursing qualification.  You will need to ensure that registration with the appropriate professional body is maintained and renewed appropriately.

You will be able to demonstrate a high level of commitment and understanding of the personalisation agenda, demonstrate an applied knowledge of Adult Social Care legislation including the Care Act 2014, the Mental Capacity Act and the NHS and Continuing Healthcare National Framework.  You will have the necessary skills and judgment to correctly apply such legislation to guide and direct staff to undertake their role with confidence and uphold the Councils pursuit of excellence. You will review performance data and act upon trends to improve performance where possible.
