Salary: APT&C Grade 3 Points 6-9 (Term Time).

Hours: 1 post 8.30 a.m. – 3.30 p.m.

           1 post 10.30 a.m. – 5.30 p.m. 

Contract Type: Temporary One Year.


Fortuna school is an SEMH (social, emotional and mental health) school which is in federation with Athena School. The two schools work together to provide quality provision through a shared nurturing ethos for all pupils.  If you wish to join our school which is pioneering in its approach to providing care, support and education for pupils with SEMH then we would really like to hear from you!

We are looking for two Level 1 Teaching Assistants to start as soon as possible. This is initially a 1 year contract with the possibility of being extended, depending on the needs of the school.

We are looking for creative, empathic, passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our committed staff team.  Experience of working with children who display extremely challenging behaviour would be an advantage.  Applications are invited from suitably motivated and enthusiastic individuals, from preferably a primary or secondary background, to join our happy committed, and supportive staff team.
