Legal Services Lincolnshire is looking for a Legal Officer to assist the Commercial and Information Governance Team in particular with undertaking work to ensure that the County Council complies with its statutory obligations to assist the Police with their criminal investigations.
The work to be undertaken involves daily handling of very sensitive and emotionally challenging information. Individuals interested in this position should only apply if they consider themselves to be emotionally and professionally resilient, robust and able to compartmentalise work from their private life.
The successful candidate will predominantly be working with the team member who is the lead for this work but will be expected to be flexible to assist other members of the team as well where business need demands.
The demand for work in this area of law is very high and the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate a readiness to adapt his/her working pattern accordingly.
The successful candidate must have a very good command of the English language and well developed communication and IT skills so as to liaise with officers throughout the County Council, the Police and other statutory bodies.
