Learning Support Assistant
We are looking for a confident Teaching Assistant to support a child at Manor Farm Academy who needs additional support.
This role is temporary whilst the High Needs Funding is in place.
Learning Support Assistant
Initially 32.5 hours per week for 39 weeks per year (includes 5 training days) To start as soon as possible but may reduce to 25 hours during Spring Term after a review.
Pay Scale TA1 LEAD NJC Point 3-7 (£24027- FTE Starting Salary)
We will require a practitioner who is able to:
• support the pupil to overcome challenges and barriers specific to their needs
• work collaboratively with the class teacher, SENDCO and the child’s parents
• attend review meetings and meet targets set within the Educational Health Care Plan
• have good communication skills and the ability to listen to the views of the child
• work with multiple agencies where appropriate to fully support the child’s needs
• have very high expectations of all pupils and be a good team contributor
