You should be a positive and enthusiastic person who loves working with children and helping them to strive for their best. We would really like to meet you if you if you are passionate about working with children and have the ability to inspire learning and support development.
You should have a high standard of general education with good numeracy and literacy skills. You will be able to communicate effectively with children and adults, have a flexible attitude, good sense of humour and be friendly and approachable.
Experience of working with children, good time management and the ability to work flexibly using your own initiative are essential.
All applications will be considered and while SEN experience would be an advantage, it is not essential as relevant training will be given to the right candidates.
The main focus of the role is to provide 1:1 support to a child with Cerebral Palsy that has significant physical needs, personal care and social, emotional and mental health needs.
You must be able to demonstrate that you understand the importance of educating the whole child, that you want the very best for them and are prepared to put their needs first.
