Hours per week - 35 hours per week, 39 weeks per annum (term time + 5 inset days)

Salary Scale  - G5.12 – G5.15   Actual Salary £17,038 - £19,163pa

We are looking to appoint an additional Learning Mentor to our existing team, to provide extra support to children who may have social, emotional or behavioural needs and who require additional help to access education and reach their full potential. 

The ideal candidate will be

  • proactive, positive and flexible,
  • a good team player with excellent communication skills. 
  • Knowledge and experience of working with children, particularly vulnerable children, is vital and it would be an advantage to have worked with other agencies that support children and their families.

The post holder will report to the Lead Learning Mentor and will be required to liaise with staff, parents/carers and children regarding issues surrounding children’s well-being and academic performance and on occasion make home visits.
