We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated & organised person to join our team as the Lead Play worker to organise and run our After School Club to ensure the best provision for our children. The after school club will run from 3.30 pm to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday. Working hours will be 3:15pm – 5:15pm. We are able to offer free childcare at the After School Club if you have a child in school.
There may be an opportunity to run the Breakfast Club as well which will have working hours of 07:30am to 9am Mon-Fri, 38 weeks per year but this is still to be determined.
The ideal candidate will be creative, be empathetic to the needs of individual pupils and be able to work independently. The ability to use your initiative and experience of working in a school environment is essential. We would also like the successful candidate to have a high standard of GCSE in English and Mathematics (Grade C and above) and a relevant NVQ 2 in Childcare. Ideally the candidate will also be trained in First Aid.
