We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead IT Systems Advisor to join our Information Management and Technology Team. 

The role

This role will be accountable for the performance of the IT System Advisor Team and will deputise for the Head of Service Delivery & User Engagement, where appropriate, regarding the remit of the IT Systems Advisory Team.

This successful candidate  will manage a small  IT Systems Advisor Team and will be required to provide advice to LCC users when using enterprise applications.  The role will involve overseeing and setting up user groups/forums, answering "How Do I?" queries, producing training material, understanding upgrades to Enterprise applications and translating for our user base to enable them to benefit from new functionality. 

What we are looking for

We are looking for someone who has previous IT customer service/support experience as well as previous line management experience.  There is an element of coaching/training on new and existing enterprise applications and experience in this area would be beneficial.  The production of processes and training material is essential as well as the ability to translate complex IT information into user friendly documentation. You must also be able to build strong relationships at all levels within the IMT team, wider council and 3rd party suppliers. The candidate will be liaising with a varied audience including senior management so good communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
