Key Stage 2 Class Teacher (Maternity Cover)
The Governors of Dunham on Trent C of E Primary School are looking to appoint a temporary full-time Teacher (Maternity Cover) to join our hardworking and dedicated staff team.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fantastic primary school in June 2025 (September 2025 starts will be considered). Initially until May 2026 with the possibility of an extension until July 2026.
The successful candidate will work predominantly within KS2, in a class of mixed age year 5 and 6 but must have the willingness and adaptability to work across all year groups and with children with SEND. We are looking for someone who:
- Have previous EYFS, KS1 or KS2 teaching experience.
- Be an enthusiastic and motivated professional.
- Be fully qualified; have a UK QTS.
- Is passionate about working with children and puts the children’s needs and well-being before anything else
- Is interested in education and impacting on the lives of children.
- Has an excellent knowledge and experience of working in KS2
- Has excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Can work effectively with and without direction.
- Enthusiasm, energy, integrity, and professionalism.
- Is a team player.
- Has an eye for detail.

Fluency Duty
