Kirton Primary School is an innovative, multi-award winning, village school that has been in the top 2% of schools nationally for five years running. Our successes have featured in national newspapers and national television.
We are a three-form-entry school with our own nursery unit on site. The school is federated with Boston Nursery School under the Parliament Federation.
We are looking to appoint a dynamic Head of School who:
- is passionate about children’s learning;
- demonstrates excellent classroom practice;
- is capable of leading and motivating colleagues;
- holds a clear vision and high expectations;
- has a track record of success;
- will steer improvement, keep abreast of national and local developments and raise standards.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of raising attainment and achievement, particularly in Year 6, and of leading a team. They will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively with staff, parents, Governors and the wider community.
