Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to develop your career?  Are you ambitious, a leader, politically and commercially aware?  Can you demonstrate working successfully at a senior level in a large, complex organisation?  Do you have the determination to drive further improvement in a high performing team?

If so, Lincolnshire County Council has two opportunities for Heads of Finance to lead the Adult Care and Communities teams.

As a member of the Council's senior finance management team you will help shape the Council's finance strategy and drive improvement across the wider team.  You will lead, manage and develop your own team, providing strategic and operational support to Adult Care or the Communities directorates and their senior management teams.  The roles include providing financial advice on strategic decisions, as well as support with budget setting, monitoring and reporting, and completion of the financial statements.

You will be able to evidence successful leadership of a team, preferably within local government or the public sector.

The roles involve managing teams of circa 15 FTE based in the thriving cathedral city of Lincoln.  An attractive salary is offered, along with the chance to work in a friendly, high performing authority.  You will help maintain and develop an excellent, professional and highly respected finance team that will assist the Council in achieving its strategic objectives.

For an informal and confidential discussion, please contact Tony Warnock, Operations and Financial Advice Manager, on 01522 553250.
