Family Support Officer

Hours Per Week - 35 hours per week (8.30am-4.00pm) 39 weeks per year

Salary  - G5 Scale £20,903 - £23,541 (pro rata) actual salary £16,818 - £18,941

Required for September 2021 an enthusiastic, self-motivated person to join our pastoral team across Years 7 - 13.

You will be required to support the Deputy and Assistant Headteachers in three key areas of our school. You will lead our Team around the Child provision for students and their families. You will work as our Education Welfare Officer, alongside the Deputy Headteacher, by monitoring attendance/ intervention plans. Finally, you will support our students in improving their wellbeing, by listening and signposting them for support.

The ideal candidate will have experience in TAC and attendance arena, in education. You must have excellent communication skills to work with our students and their families. Candidates must have GCSE Maths & English and ideally have experience of working in a school environment.
