The Early Years Entitlements (EYE) team are looking for an excellent communicator, who will work closely with parents, childcare providers and professionals to expand local awareness of the government offers available, and increase the number of children accessing their early education entitlements.

The EYE team support parents, professionals and childcare providers to maximise the use of government offers available to support families with the cost of childcare.   

This is an opportunity to join our dynamic team in a role that provides variety, challenges and an opportunity to drive positive change for the young children across Lincolnshire.

The ideal candidate will bring to the team:

  • an eye for detail and experience of analysing data, to identify patterns, trends and anomalies.
  • innovative ideas about how to engage parents to utilise these government offers and increase take up in Lincolnshire
  • excellent communication and presentation skills to engage stakeholders about the benefits of early years education
  • organisational skills to manage own diary and support families across the county
  • knowledge of the current and expanding government support available for parents 

 

The individual should be passionate about early years education and understand the offers available to families.

Main responsibilities are:

  • Analysing take up data and identifying patterns in demographics of EYE usage
  • Analyse eligibility data, and identify gaps in use of EYE across Lincolnshire
  • Communicate directly with families to understand barriers to take up of EYE
  • Promote usage of EYE to families, working collaboratively with childcare providers and professionals
  • Conduct virtual and face to face audits to ensure compliance with the EYE funding requirements across the county as directed by the Lead Consultant (EYE).
  • To support other general administrative and clerical duties as requested, including report writing, data reporting and dealing with both parent and provider queries

 

You will be required to build effective relationships both internally and externally, so effective communication skills are essential to be able to provide careful and considered responses.

A good working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel is required.

The post holder will be required to have a driving license with access to a car and be able to travel and work in a timely and flexible manner to undertake the duties of the role.  Some travel will be required across the county to meet service demand.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to deliver a 10 minutes presentation on 'Changing children's lives through childcare' and complete an Excel based aptitude test during the interview
