Designated Safeguarding Lead and Family Liaison Support
Bourne Westfield Primary Academy are looking for a Designated Safeguarding Lead and Family Liaison Support to join their team.
About this Role
The right candidate will:
- Lead the school on safeguarding and liaison with external agencies
- Work with staff and parents to ensure that our children have the very best opportunity in education
- Have the ability to build constructive and professional relationships with parents, children and staff
- Take a central part in school life such as greeting children at the gate in the morning
- Have the ability to draw on a wide range of support services, information, opportunities and guidance
Applicants will need to:
- Have a proven record of effective work with vulnerable families.
- Be someone who is passionate about supporting all children
- Have the ability to build and maintain successful relationships both with colleagues and families
- Have experience of safeguarding children, Child Protection and online record keeping
- Have sense of humour and be resilient and resourceful
- Be emotionally robust, capable of dealing with challenging situations
